About Antique Appraisals

We are one of the country's largest, oldest, most qualified and respected appraisal services. We do ALL types of personal property, both new and antique. Our complete valuation has served clients in a wide variety of situations.

As you can see, we are not your typical online appraisal service. Our work is highly detailed and involves complex research and documentation. Each item is carefully reviewed by our experts. Comparable values and sales are established. We are not the least expensive service on the internet, and we know it. The majority of our focus is to provide accurate valuations for the insurance and legal industry. The bottom line is that a $10.00 appraisal just won't stand up in court, in front of the IRS, in an Estate situation, in a claim situation, or in literally dozens of other instances. That isn't to say we don't do a tremendous number of valuations for individuals who need quality documentation. We do dozens of individual valuations daily in addition to our corporate clientele.

Our current and previous customers include: Allstate Insurance Company, Prudential Insurance, Chubb Insurance, AON, AIG, Fireman's Fund Insurance, The Federal Court of California, The State and Federal Court Of Georgia (legal expert designation), The Federal Court Of Missouri (legal expert testimony), Bank Of America, Wachovia, The Federal Court Of Florida (legal expert qualification), The United States Customs Service, Atlanta, Georgia, Savannah, Georgia (field evaluation and legal documentation of imported goods), Museums and institutions around the country, and many, many, others. In short, we are the experts.

The majority of our appraisals are personal property evaluations for valuation documentation purposes. However, we have evaluated goods and personal property for natural disaster losses (hurricane Katrina and others), theft, fire, freight and shipping damage after the loss has occurred.
